The silhouette of a tree, standing tall on what appears to be an island, is the focal point of the painting. The tree’s reflection on the water adds depth to the scene, mirroring the fiery colors of the sky. The greenish areas around the tree suggest the presence of foliage or other vegetation, adding a touch of life to the serene landscape. The bold color choices and reflective scenery create an atmosphere that can evoke various interpretations from viewers, a captivating piece of art.

Bubbles of Hope: A Journey of Resilience and Healing
Welcome to Bubbles of Hope, an art exhibition celebrating the power of creativity, mental health awareness, and the transformative strength of hope. This collection features works by Walter Fernandes, an artist whose journey with Parkinson’s has sparked a deeper exploration into the healing role of art. Through vibrant colors, dynamic forms, and emotional expression, each piece tells a story of struggle, resilience, and the unwavering light of hope.
This exhibition not only reflects Walter’s personal journey, but also connects deeply with the mission of CAMH (Center for Addiction and Mental Health). CAMH is a leader in mental health treatment and research, advocating for improved care and resources for individuals living with mental health challenges. Just as art provides an outlet for expression and healing, CAMH fosters the same sense of recovery through their innovative programs.
We invite you to experience the powerful intersection of art, resilience, and community support. Your participation contributes to a future where mental health is treated with the same urgency and compassion as physical health.
At Painting With Parkinson, we aim to provide a supportive and creative environment for individuals affected by Parkinson's disease. Our mission is to foster artistic expression and promote well-being through engaging art programmes.
Community involvement is at the heart of Painting With Parkinson. We offer workshops, talks, and events that encourage dialogue and participation from all art lovers, helping to foster a deeper appreciation for the arts within Ontario's vibrant communities.
